Founder & Head of one the oldest and still active independent electronic music record companies in Germany, the DRIZZLY MUSIC PRODUCTION GMBH & CO KG, founded in 1993 and based in the area of Frankfurt am Main / Germany. AL-Faris / Drizzly Music have over 30 label imprints, such as GR8 AL Music, Drizzly Rec, Construct Rhythm, Jerk Records, House Foundation, Universal Prime Breaks, Form Recordings, Swop, Asgard, Electric Sauna, Composure, Real Groove, Planet Trax, Bootcamp, Thrill Rec. and many more. Since his breakthrough as labelowner, producer and remixer, AL-Faris has worked with and for several big names in the industry, such as Grammy Award winner Jody Watley, Grammy Award nominee Deborah Cox, Timo Maas & Jamie Lewis, MTV award winner Ayumi Hamasaki (AYU), Simon Collins, Marisa Turner, Funkstar De Luxe, Mike D'Abo (Manfred Mann), Mr. Anderson, Blank & Jones, Kim Wilde, DJ Antoine, Cosmic Gate, YORK, DJ Sherry, Soulshaker or for example Colonel Abrams. AL-Faris started his career as a DJ in 1984. He had as a producer and remixer a bunch of releases on Drizzly, Real Groove, UPB, Primate, Ministry of Sound, Trax Records Chicago, Tommy Boy, Sony, Universal, Warner. He just released his latest artist house album in December 2017 @ the legendary TRAX Records Chicago.
