Affectum's musical journey began at a very young age, sitting in an orchestra with a trumpet in his hands. It was there, surrounded by the interplay of instruments, that he first discovered the power of rhythm, melody and emotion in music, elements that continue to define his signature sound to this day. The discipline of playing in an ensemble taught him how individual parts come together to create something greater. Yet while sheet music gave him structure, it also imposed limits, and his urge to create knew no boundaries. That restless creative drive eventually led him to music production, where he searched for a way to channel raw energy into something fresh, powerful and entirely his own.

A defining turning point came during his studies, when he crossed paths with a DJ and the two decided to trade skills, production knowledge in exchange for DJing. That exchange unlocked something, and from there, everything set in motion. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a genuine calling.

Today, Affectum is carving out his place in the underground club scene, with a sound rooted in the raw pulse of 90's-inspired house and hard house.
