Hidden just off Amsterdam’s Leidseplein, De Kring is a place steeped in more than a century of Dutch cultural history.
This exclusive artists’ society has long been a meeting place for actors, writers, artists and other colourful characters where high and low culture have always happily shared the same rooms, bar and infamous staircase.
