Over the weeks and months leading up to October, the complete ADE Pro Conference programme will be announced online. The first highlights of the already diverse and extensive listing are here, offering you a sneak peak in what's to come this October. Ranging from futuristic and ethical topics to true veterans of our scene, and even a chance to win a €100K investment, ADE Pro 2022 features dedicated programming at the absolute forefront of electronic music. During The Opportunities of Synthetic Media at the ADE Pro Conference, we’ll take a deep dive into the wondrous world of synthetic media and one of its most well-known forms: the deepfake. We'll be joined by cybersecurity expert and author of 'Deepfakes' Nina Schick, alongside deepfake artists Bob de Jong and Chris Umé. These three thought leaders of new media will discuss the ethical side of AI generated media, highlight some of the positive use cases as well as guide you through the most recent developments and opportunities.

Youssou N'dour In Conversation

As the godfather of Africa’s current creative explosion, he is one of the musicians responsible for the popularity of the unique sounds of the West African Mbalax genre. Youssou N’Dour will also share his insights on the music industry, creativity and much more at ADE Pro conference. Who are his favourite new acts amongst the current African wave and what keeps him creatively fresh after all these years?

Suzanne Ciani

American musician and composer Suzanne Ciani has become a true pioneer for electronic music with her ground-breaking sound designs made with synthesizers and her powerful analog performances, that were completely unheard of at the time. Besides playing a one-off opening concert with the Metropole Orkest on ADE Wednesday, Suzanne Ciani will be making a special appearance at ADE Pro conference this year.

Win a €100K investment at the ADE x Antler Startup Competition

Is your innovative company active on the cutting edge of music and technology? Together with global early-stage venture capital investor Antler are launching the 2022 ADE & Antler Startup Competition in which you can win (at least) a 100K investment for your startup.

Anyone who is starting a company with an innovative idea, product or service related in any way to the music & entertainment industry, can join the 2022 ADE & Antler Startup Competition. After a screening process and first rounds of interviews, the chosen teams will pitch to Antler’s Investment Committee (IC) and receive hands-on support from ADE and Antler to prepare for the final pitches.

The final round of the competition will take place live on the main stage during ADE Pro in Amsterdam, where the final contestants will present their ideas live on stage to compete for the grand prize of a €100K+ investment, access to Antler’s global network of founders, investors and industry experts, as well as coaching by Antler and the possibility to receive further investment all the way through to Series C.
