Signals: Hearing a Changing Planet @ ARTIS Planetarium
Presented by EarthSonic and Artis, with the support of the European Space Agency this ADE Sunday event brings together science, sound and visual art to explore how our planet is changing through satellite data. Artists, scientists and cultural thinkers come together to show how scientific data can be translated into music and art, making complex changes easier to understand through audiovisual performances as well as a live conversation. Join for a journey from data to emotion, and from observation to action.
Zone2Source: The Electric Garden @ Het Glazen Huis
Circuits and Ceremonies, presented by Zone2Source inside Amstelpark from ADE Friday to Sunday, explores electricity as a living network through works by Sunjoo Lee, Adriana Knouf, Claire Williams and Ryan Jordan, bringing technology, ecology and ritual into dialogue. At its center is Lee’s Electric Garden, an ecosystem powered by microbial fuel cells that generate electricity through soil bacteria. The exhibition considers what happens when energy is cultivated and shared rather than simply generated and consumed. The exhibition is free to visit and, on ADE Saturday, will also host two performances of Mudcell Composition IV by Niels Gräber and Isaac van den Aker, a sound performance surrounded by nature, made in collaboration with the microbial life of "Electric Garden".

Slimfit x ADE x Our Lord in the Attic Museum @ Museum Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder
Set in the historic, clandestine church of Museum Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder, Slimfit explores the ritualistic qualities of sound through historical and cultural contexts for three performances on ADE Thursday to Saturday. The hybrid live performance brings together classical music and live electronic composition, exploring seemingly opposing liturgical ideologies through sound and visuals.
It forms part of Pantheon Amsterdam, an exhibition featuring eight multidisciplinary artists reflecting on religion, spirituality and celebration. The exhibition will remain on display at the museum from ADE 2026 until ADE 2027.
Minimal Collective x Oude Kerk: Post-Space @ Oude Kerk
Minimal Collective presents the second edition of its site specific, dedicated listening series from ADE Thursday to Saturday in Oude Kerk, Amsterdam's oldest building. ADE Friday features lazergazer, Pavel Milyakov & Tapio Viitasaari, Carmen Villain, and Lulá Luna & Nessim, while ADE Saturday brings the live debut of Son Of Chi & Okgwa, a reimagining of Whispers of Water and Spring by Temple Rat, the audiovisual world premiere of Nooga by Tharim Cornelisse, Floid & W92, and an ambient closing set by Picture. Across the three-day event, Cornelisse also presents Hieropixel, an audiovisual installation built from images and recordings of the Oude Kerk. Kantarion Sound returns with a custom sound system designed for the building’s acoustics, alongside seating by côte&ciel, highlighting this event’s distinctive sound system and listening environment.

Currents @ Loods6
Futures of Listening returns to ADE with Currents, a four-day program of spatial sound experiments and performances at Loods6, starting ADE Thursday. Across live and DJ sets, workshops, demos and a closing spatial sound meetup, artists will experiment with changing sound system configurations to create a different listening experience each night. Set in the former passenger and freight terminal’s concrete Bagagehall, visitors can sit, lie down or move through the space as sound comes from different points along the corridor. Line-up TBA.
The programme is presented by FIBER Festival, 4DSOUND, in:resonance and SOL Systems as part of Futures of Listening.

(dis)comfort @ Café40
Café40 welcomes (dis)comfort: a three-day free program grounded in the belief that music can, and should, create collective spaces for awareness, dialogue, and reflection. Rooted in a contemporary take on café culture, Café40 brings people together through conversation, music, art, and a welcoming atmosphere. Throughout the programme, Sasha Todorovska and Virginia Gianni will present their artworks in the space.
Interactive Workshop
There will be an interactive workshop with Giulio Beja & Veronica Motta and Listening Session with Mark Knekelhuis on inclusive nightlife on ADE Thursday, Habibi's World on ADE Friday, which brings the colors, flavors, sounds and rhythms of North Africa to life through music, food, fashion and art. Then closing on ADE Saturday with ragel + Seedlink⁺, which will bring the alternative club experience into the cafe.
Motie @ Stopera
From ADE Thursday, Amsterdam City Hall is taken over by Motie, a new public cultural program founded by local DJ JP Enfant, bringing music, immersive art, dance and food to the Stopera for three days.
Motie takes place at the Stopera, Amsterdam's City Hall at Amstel 1. Designed by architects Wilhelm Holzbauer and Cees Dam, the building combines two distinct worlds: the solidity of City Hall and the openness and grandeur of the ballet. The former municipal service desks of Amsterdam City Hall becomes a meeting place for Amsterdam’s creative ecosystem.
For the first time during 30 YEARS ADE, the Stopera will host a public cultural program. At its centre is Helios, an audiovisual work by Heleen Blanken and Daniel de Bruin, presented with Nxt Museum and given a different downtempo interpretation each evening by Young Marco & Jonny Nash, Oceanic, and Gizem Öz. The program also features Sophia Bulgakova, Arno Schuitemaker and culinary collaborations with Amsterdam restaurants, with more artists to be announced.
