Lynk & Co's wide-ranging ADE Lab program with Armada Music, Fontys ACE, and shesaid.so

Tuesday, 26 September 2023
ADE reunites with Lynk & Co, the innovative car brand that redefines sharing and challenges the established norms of the automotive industry. Not only does Lynk & Co master the art of car-sharing, but the brand also knows a thing or two about sharing with its community. Lynk & Co opens the doors of its 'Club' in the heart of Amsterdam to music lovers during ADE by transforming its showroom into a creative hub. ADE Lab programs three days full of music, education, and connection at the hub, with a different initiative as host each day. Each host has its own unique program, from masterclasses by big names to connecting with new faces within the scene.

Disrupting the automotive industry

Lynk & Co's mission is to meet the evolving needs of a new generation of globally connected consumers. The power lies in the hands of their community: you decide when you need a car, how often you need it, and if you want to share or buy one. During ADE, they're transforming their 'Club' into a vibrant stage for various exciting initiatives, like industry leaders Armada Music, shesaid.so., and Fontys ACE.

ADE Lab x Fontys Minor Dance Industry

On the first day when ADE Lab takes control of the Lynk & Co's Club, Tilburg makes its way to Amsterdam as the Fontys Academy for the Creative Economy (ACE) takes the stage in the showroom. As part of their study program, students explore the electronic music industry through the Dance Industry program, taking their first steps in our field. Along the way students discover what career path suits them best. Maybe a future as label manager is right up their alley or they may be more suited as a marketeer. Cue ADE Lab! By giving students the opportunity to curate their own program at ADE, ADE Lab helps students explore their interests and ambitions. Leaving it up to them to organise an exciting day at Lynk & Co’s Amsterdam Club at Rokin, while guided by teachers and professionals.

shesaid.so Takes over!

ADE has been teaming up with shesaid.so for several years now. Their community of women, gender nonconforming people, and allies in the music industry gathers yearly at ADE, focussing on programming around diversity and inclusion in the music industry. The collective steps into the spotlight at the Lynk & Co Club Space to open the floor to discussion and conversations about these topics on ADE Thursday.

This year's program features activities like a panel discussion by Studio VRij exploring the concept of identity in the digital world, a conversation by British radio DJ Tiffany Calver with a surprise guest, and the talk 'Navigating New horizons', about about empowering African DJs for global opportunities, featuring the South Africa's DESIREE and Kenya's Coco Em. If you've done enough talking for the day, join the live demo session 'How to put together a track for a commercial ad' with Sizzer, and end the day with a little dance on the dance floor. So, lots to discover on this inspiring day at ADE Lab!

There's still plenty left to be announced, so make sure to keep an eye out for the full program on the she.saidso Takes Over! page.

Armada University
