The next generation of artist leadership

From Brazil's fast-growing electronic music scene to artist-led businesses and new creative technologies, a new group of artists joins the ADE Pro Conference this October.

Mochakk & Solarce Brothers

Brazilian artists Mochakk and Solarce Brothers join ADE Pro as part of a wider focus on Brazil, one of the key regions highlighted for the 30 YEARS ADE edition. Together, they bring different perspectives from the country's electronic music landscape, reflecting the diversity of sounds and communities shaping its growing global influence. Both acts will participate in the panel 'Brazil Calling: How a New Generation of Selectors, Clubs and Labels is Taking Over Global Electronic Music'.

Josh Baker

Josh Baker joins this year's program as part of 'Artist as Entrepreneur'. Having built his career across music, events and education through projects including Syntho, You&Me and Hide&Seek Festival, Baker brings a perspective on what it means to develop multiple disciplines alongside an artist career, and create opportunities beyond traditional industry structures.

SPFDJ

Following her ADE Lab appearance in 2025, SPFDJ joins the ADE Pro Conference this year. Alongside her internationally touring career, she runs the Intrepid Skin label and recently launched the Motherlode event series, reflecting a broader movement of artists building independent platforms and communities around their work.

Pegassi

Pegassi also joins the program, with further details on his session to be announced. His participation adds another artist perspective to conversations around how technology, platforms and communities continue to reshape electronic music culture.

Mathame

Mathame joins this year's ADE Pro program, bringing a perspective shaped by their work across music, technology and immersive art. Through projects such as EmoTech, NEO and AI-powered audiovisual performances, the duo continues to explore new possibilities for artistic expression within electronic music.

Twenty years of Ed Banger and Because Music

Few partnerships have shaped independent music quite like Ed Banger and Because Music. This October, Ed Banger founder Pedro Winter (Busy P) and Because Music founder Emmanuel de Buretel come together at ADE Pro to reflect on two decades of collaboration. The conversation looks at how the two labels helped shape one of contemporary music's most influential independent ecosystems, reflecting on their shared history and the future of independent music.

The Future and legacy, culture, and music's wider impact

As ADE celebrates 30 years, several sessions in this year's program examine the wider cultural role of electronic music.

Paul Hartnoll (Orbital)

Paul Hartnoll of Orbital joins the 'The Ethics of the Sample: Collaboration, Consent and Credit Across Cultures'. His appearance coincides with the 30th anniversary of In Sides, Orbital's landmark fourth album, which remains one of the defining electronic records of the 1990s.

Gideon Berger, Sarah Williams, and Matt Black

Gideon Berger, co-founder of Block9 and co-organizer of Together for Palestine, joins the program alongside Sarah Williams, music lawyer and board member of Palestine Music Expo and Earth Percent CEO of IMPEL and Palestine Music Expo, as well as Matt Black, co-founder of Ninja Tune and long-term cultural activist.

Together, they take part in 'The State of Emergency: Music Leaders at the Forefront of Change', a session exploring how music communities respond to global challenges, and how artists, organizations and cultural institutions can mobilize people toward solidarity and action.
