WON (NL)

WON is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer whose sound bridges a global upbringing with European techno culture. Born in Oslo and raised across Latin America and South Korea, he grew up learning to read new rooms and new people, an instinct that now defines him behind the decks. His artist name carries a double meaning: it comes from his given name, Hyungwon, and from the Korean currency, a nod to his heritage. Having started his journey in Groningen before moving to Amsterdam, he is now in a fresh chapter, pushing his sound toward hypnotic, groove-driven territory and hard groove while keeping the driving energy of his hard techno roots.

A resident and team member of Echo Recordings, WON has played landmark venues across the Netherlands, with international performances in South Korea and Germany and multiple releases on TMT. For him, a set is never about standing above the crowd. He prefers the booth at floor level, fully immersed in the room, weaving diverse genres together without losing momentum, feeding off the energy and turning every set into a shared movement.
