Wietske Overdijk (NL)

Wietske Overdijk (2001) is a photographer, filmmaker and artist booker from The Netherlands. In 2021, she started working in the electronic music industry as a photographer. She worked for various organizations as stagemanager and became the artist booker for BiBi & Happy Feelings in 2023. At the same time, she graduated from the University of Arts in Utrecht as a director of documentaries. To build a bridge between both worlds, she decided to graduate with a documentary that takes place in the electronic music industry. AFRICAN GOLD shows a short and intimate portrait of DJ Philou Louzolo - who is also her cousin.
