Thomas de Raad (NL)

Speaker (Tommy Advice)

After over 7 years of working experience at different positions in the music industry, Thomas decided to go by his own and set up a full-service music company in publishing, consultancy and management. Under the latter he founded the record label ’New Ams Records’, which serves as stepping stone for to be developed and upcoming artists. Currently Thomas is managing Dutch artist and model Ruben Pol, and producer/songwriter Brad Mair. In a publishing joint-venture with CTM, he is publishing French artists Arno Cost & Norman Doray, and Dutch producer Jara de Werd.

Thomas is also a label consultant at E&A events, helping E&A to set up a record label for their event brand TIKTAK. With a minimum of 15 events per year and more then 50,000 visitors annually, TIKTAK has grown from an event to a platform. With the start of TIKTAK Records, a solid platform will be created for artists to promote their music to the large and dedicated group of urban music fans, and also showcasing their music live on the TIKTAK events.

After graduating in Business Administration (with a minor in Music Marketing & Management) from the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, Thomas started working for Protocol Recordings, doing the day-to-day management for Nicky Romero. A year later he started managing his own acts signed to Nicky’s record label; French DJ and producer Arno Cost and Dutch duo Volt & State. In 2016 a new challenge crossed Thomas’ path. He started working as A&R for Europe’s leading independent publishing company CTM Publishing. Thomas’ main role was guiding songwriters and producers in the emerging dance-pop music scene, helping them cross-over to the mainstream, and expanding CTM’s roster within the electronic and pop genre until the end of 2018, when he founded his own company Tommy Advice.
