The smiler (EE)

Estonian producer and DJ - Smiler aka. Rebus Project was born in 1980 in Tallinn, Estonia. He made his first steps in electronic music in a very young age and since became dedicated to fascinating world of rhythm and drums. His first experience on DJ booth was in 1995 when he mixed his first records. Favorite style has always been techno but as his taste is a quite different you can also hear Smiler play Tech-House/Progressive/Breaks or even Dub.

His first mention as a producer was on techno compilation CD that was released on Extraphone Records, Russia and was composed by DJ Cosmonaut. (Dj Cosmonaut - 100 % Techno Made in Russia). Second release was on MFM Records when DJ Smiler made a remix for DJs Whirl and Mayer - Streets at night, that is a well known as a anthem for one of the bigest music festival in Baltic States - Freedom Parade (60 000 people). DJ Smiler has played on one stage with such artists as: Leo Laker, Westbam, Energun 22, Leeroy Tornhill, Rulers of The Deep, DJ Cosmonaut, Dave Storm, DJ Balthazar, Zayatz, DJ Fashist, Bert Bevans and many others. Along with other DJ/ Producers Smiler is one of the talented and most popular DJs in Estonian techno scene. You can find him playing all around Estonia and Baltic States almost every week end. The biggest events he took place were : Sun Dance Music Festival, Freedom Parade, Beach Party Festival, East-West, Atmosphere,Airport Jam,East Estonia Drum Fest
