Teddybears, consisting of Jocke Åhlund, Klas Åhlund and Patrik Arve, holds Sweden’s most impressive resume. They have, among others, worked with Cee-Lo, Beenie Man, Iggy Pop, Ninjaman, Mad Cobra, Stor, Flaming Lips, Kardinal Offishall, Eve, B.o.B, Daddy Boastin, Slick Rick, Ebbot from the soundtrack of Our Lives, Ghetto, Bashy, Wiley, Trimbal, Kano, Eagle-Eye Cherry, Busy Signal, Ward 21, Mr. Lexx, Gorilla Zoe, Natalie Storm, Tifa, Red Fox, Swing Fly, Elliot Summer, Neneh Cherry, Robyn and Mapei. They have remixed Marilyn Manson and Daft Punk. As a songwriter and producer Klas has worked with Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Robyn, Madonna, Eagle-Eye Cherry and Snoop Dogg. Jocke has written and produced for Håkan Hellström and was a founding member of the admired band Caesars. He is now a member of Les Big Byrd, the band Smile with Björn Yttling and has a solo project under the name of Max von Sydow. Arve has the punk band Krösus, the electric group Swedish Tiger Sound and collaborated with children music maestros Brothers Lindgren. All this has led to two U.S. Grammy Nominations and winning nine Swedish Grammies. (Six to Teddybears as a band).
Teddybears have performed on David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel’s TV shows. Their music has been heard on television shows like Entourage and Breaking Bad. They have played at Coachella, Roskilde and at Niagara Falls. They have set up a special musical performance at the Royal Dramatic Theatre and crashed cars with Iggy Pop in Manhattan during a video recording. They´ve directed numerous music videos and even made a puppet theatre.
