Originally from the Philippines Sounds Like! aka Aldwin Macapagal started Dj’ing in 1990 whilst working for a mobile sound system in his home town of Manilla. He acquired his first residency in 1992 at one of the city’s hottest clubs at the time “Equinox”. After 6 years he sought a new challenge in China, arriving in Shenzhen in 1998. In 2001 he become the creative force behind “Club Cinderella” which was open for 15 years, & one of House Music Club in China. Whilst working as music director for Club Cinderella he set up his own company Wulongzu. Wulongzu has gone on to become one of the most successful DJ agencies and event management companies in China. Past events have enabled Aldwin to play alongside some of the most successful Dj’s in the world such as X-Press 2, Scott Bond, Mr. White, Gareth Emery, Above and Beyond, Alex Kenji, Toumasii (Ministry of Sound), Ivan Pica, Dr Kucho, Dylan Rhymes, D-Formation, Del Horno, Lange, The Thrillseekers, Moksi, Henry Fong & Garmiani, and many others. 2005 saw the release of “Novaliches Track” Aldwin’s well received debut album which as well as marking the shift towards music production also sparked an extensive national tour sponsored by Budweiser. The past few years has seen a string of influential tribal house tracks released on American label Bedroom Muzik as well original productions signed to Coraza Recordings and Bamboo Music Australia. The success of these releases led to Aldwin Macapagal being invited to Play at the Miami Winter Music Conference in both 2008 and 2009.
