RIØ (DE)

RIØ is a DJ and co-founder of the Munich-based Groove Raiderz Collective, delivering groovy,
driving house shaped by progressive structures and forward-moving energy. His sound blends
hypnotic flow, trance-inspired textures, and classic house influences into a distinct,
dancefloor-focused identity.

Rooted in rolling basslines, tight percussion, and subtle vocal elements, RIØ crafts dynamic
sets that evolve organically while maintaining a strong sense of groove and forward motion.
His approach bridges oldschool house foundations with modern, atmospheric sensibilities,
guided by a fluid, genre-open mindset.

His journey began in 2017 in Munich’s former Optimolgelände, where he emerged from the
local club culture and quickly moved behind the decks, playing early warm-up sets for artists
such as Klaudia Gawlas and Pleasurekraft.

After a period of artistic recalibration during the pandemic years, RIØ returned in 2023 with a
renewed vision and founded Groove Raiderz as a genre-bending collective.
Since his return, RIØ has established himself within the European underground circuit,
performing at key venues such as Grelle Forelle (Vienna), Rote Sonne (Munich), Das Werk
(Vienna), and selected appearances across Central and Southeast Europe, including Belgrade
Malaga and Ljubljana.
