Quinny J (NL)

Born and raised in Amsterdam, Quinny J grew up around a melting pot of cultures, people and sounds that continue to shape his way of moving through music.
Moving between acid, electro, house, UK garage, breakbeat and everything that happens somewhere in between.

No two sets quite sound the same, as he follows whatever catches his ear in the moment - moving between familiar grooves and unexpected frequencies.

For Quinny, variety is not a lack of direction, but part of the direction itself. He finds energy in contrast, unexpected combinations and sounds that keep things moving. Sometimes messy, sometimes slick, always made to dance.

In the studio, he is slowly building his own little universe around acid lines, warped grooves, percussion and plenty of swing. Always energetic, always changing, never too interested in staying in one lane.Expect movement, strange sounds and the occasional transmission from somewhere out there.
