Polli Panda (NL)

Genrefluid, flinta DJ based in Amsterdam with focus on groovy sound that will make you sweat. Sets focused on house (mostly vinyl) featuring Chicago, Detroit, deep, progressive as well as get downs with techno, trance, juke, ghetto, breaks and jungle.

Polli Panda is a Slavic girl raised in Czech Republic, that only found belonging in the art scene. She started with dance and music at the age of 3 before moving to Europe, and it never stopped since. Finished music school and build a dance career through teaching at Dance Academy Prague. Being part of dance company Brownies, she decided to change her life and went for dance studies in Sweden. Being isolated in a forest she met DJing and found an art project “Unbox It”.

Being part of house dance community for 13 years (in total) brings her to the core understanding of what is supposed to happen on the dancefloor.

Later on she moves to the Canary Islands and starts playing at the raves, parties and clubs, discovering more of a party life and expanding her genres. Founding a queer safe space event “We Have to Talk” in Las Palmas and cofounding an art collective “Connection Art Event” she stays in Spain for 3 years. During her harder times on the island she starts producing music, first with EP Poleteli, then few more later in 2025 she was released on VA of Spanish label QuickTime Records.

In 2023 she moved to Amsterdam. Since then her sound is getting more mature, she added vinyl and collected a lot of great experiences in the clubs like Radio Radio, SkateCafe and more. Moving to Amsterdam also meant to be closer to art culture so she came back to dance community where she is teaching classes, participating in battles and organising events. She started with ballroom community by walking few balls and started exploring music production for theatre and movies.
