Pedro da Mata (BR)

Pedro da Mata, Brazilian-born and hailing from Minas Gerais, is a DJ and co-founder of Onda Collective, active in Amsterdam’s underground scene and deeply connected to Brazilian, Afro and Latin music. His sound is built around house and bass, with heavy low-end, percussive rhythms and hypnotic grooves at its core. Baile funk also plays a central role in his sets, bringing its raw energy, swing and rhythmic identity into a hybrid club sound. Pedro moves between house, bass and rhythm-focused sounds, creating dynamic sets that balance groove, pressure and movement. Through his individual work and Onda Collective, he connects his Brazilian roots with the Amsterdam’s contemporary underground scene.
