Owen Offset (MT)

Owen Offset is famous in the island of Malta for his passion for techno music. Throughout his DJ career, he has played alongside internal artists Vitalic, and Dave Clarke amongst others. He was the warm-up DJ for Joey Beltram and David Meiser and Ritzi Lee. Offset turned his hand into production in 2014 and has signed his first album with Subwoofer Records. BLACK SOLAR EP made it to the top 20 on Beatport charts and to the top 100 of the productions released by Subwoofer Records during the past five years. This was followed with PLATEN VINYL EP which was issued with Analogue Audio Berlin with remixers Björn Torwellen, Shin Nishimura and Dominik Vaillant which is being supported by international artists Joseph Capriati and Dr. Motte amongst others. Work is still underway for a new album which will be launched later on in 2016. The new album INHALE will include remixes from the legends Joey Beltram and Sven Wittekind. Unrealesed upcoming tracks where played at the 2015 edition of Awakenings from respected artists, these tracks will be part of another album that is still to be released on vinyl. In 2016, other releases are planned to be issued with Plus Records Japan after the success of his Plus Records podcast which made it 1st in hard Techno and 3rd in dark Techno. Always looking forward, Offset’s influence with his work as a DJ and his own productions saw the beginning of Techno is the Answer, and started collaborating with international promotors to bring techno to the Maltese dance floors in the name of Techno is the Answer.
