He was was nominated for a BNN/State Award in the category “Best Artist” becoming the first unsigned artist to get this nomination in the award show’s history. But on August 6th an attempt on his life was taken and he was shot down in the streets of Amsterdam. Six months after the incident, he had a Dutch hit song “Meisje luister” in collaboration with Kleine Viezerik. It became a #1 hit on the FunX Hip Hop Chart.
