Monknash (EE)

Estonian artist Monknash blends heavy percussion and warped basslines with emotional intensity, creating dark, driving soundscapes charged with a sense of release. Her debut track Skalapendra was released on the Scottish label Still Distant Records as part of the VA Dark To Black compilation. Performing both live and as a DJ, she has established herself in alternative venues from her home scenes to Berlin, Brussels, Istanbul, and more recently Detroit. While primarily performing techno, Monknash also appears in diverse contexts reflecting a fluid and fearless approach to sound.
