Megan Best (IE)

Megan Best devotes much of her time advocating for agency through creativity. Convinced that the cultural sector, and events in particular, can be at the forefront of transformative change, she spent more than a decade pioneering initiatives at the helm of the Body&Soul Festival, arguably the sustainability forerunner in Ireland’s festival scene. Her current role is as Managing Director to Native Events, the driving force for sustainable event consultancy, production and equipment hire in Ireland.


Trained in circular economy principles, with an MSc in environmental sustainability and a postgrad in climate entrepreneurship, Megan is a passionate and driven forerunner who works with a wide range of collaborators and creatives in the realms of circularity, production and sustainability solutions.
