Massimo Conecto (BE)

Massimo Conecto (Dirk Stommels) has been active behind the decks since 1999, building a reputation for deep musical journeys and refined crowd control. Raised in a musical environment, inspired by his grandfather, a jazz musician who performed alongside Toots Thielemans developed an early sense of groove, harmony and tension-
building, elements that still define his sets today.

Over more than two decades he has performed in Belgium and internationally, playing clubs, festivals, private parties and underground afterparties. His sound evolved from house roots into a powerful blend of Melodic Techno, Progressive House and deeper Techno structures.

As resident DJ and co-organizer of The Journey of Love Events, including The Theatre of Love, The Cruise of Love and The Journey of Love goes Underground, he has curated days and nights built on atmosphere, flow and musical depth.

Currently, Massimo Conecto focuses on Melodic Techno, Melodic House and Progressive House, delivering sets that balance emotion and drive. His style is characterized by layered builds, hypnotic grooves and strong harmonic progression, equally effective on a melodic stage or a deeper techno floor.

Massimo Conecto stands for connection, musical maturity and a refined sense of crowd reading, always building a journey rather than just playing tracks, it is architecture.
