Marijn Kingma (NL)

Marijn Kingma is managing partner at Höcker Advocaten, based in Amsterdam. She is one of the lead practitioners in the Netherlands at the intersection of media, entertainment and copyright law, with a special interest in human rights. She advises an established client base of major international entertainment companies, collective management organisations, music publishers, broadcasters and NGOs in high-value disputes and negotiations, and has been involved in several landmark cases. As one of seven experts of the Dutch Copyright Committee (appointed by the Dutch Minister of Justice), she is at the forefront of legal development in the field.

Marijn is a member of the editorial board of the Dutch academic legal journal on copyright "Auteursrecht", lead lecturer at the post-graduate specialisation programme "S.K. Martens Academy", an active member of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers and a regular speaker or chair at (national and international) conferences. According to international legal guides, her clients call her "a force of nature, made entirely of conviction and determination."
