Luval (IT)

Valerio, known as Luval, is a Neapolitan DJ and composer based in Amsterdam, where he founded Discosabotage two years ago.
A devoted vinyl and turntable user, Luval shapes his sound through constant digging and a physical approach to mixing. His DJ sets move between raw house grooves, tight rhythmic structures and acid-leaning electronics, guided by tension, repetition and dancefloor dynamics rather than fixed genre rules.
Graduated from the Naples Conservatory, his academic background informs a precise yet instinctive approach to rhythm, structure and sound design. With over 15 years behind the decks, Luval balances musical discipline with a strong club attitude, allowing his sets to evolve patiently while maintaining pressure and energy.
Influenced by the underground cultures of Southern Italy and Northern Europe, his sound is direct, hypnotic and uncompromising, built for dark rooms, long nights and fully engaged dancefloors.
