Luke Spontan is all about the unexpected. A vinyl-only DJ, Luke lets spontaneity do the talking where every set is a little different, every mix a mystery, and always something that makes you dance.
His record collection moves freely between cosmic grooves, world sounds, electro, Italo disco, nu-disco and city pop, with no strict rules beyond following the feeling. Born and bred in Melbourne, Luke’s musical life has taken him through Germany and Japan, and now to Amsterdam, where he’s based.
Years of living, digging and DJing across different places have shaped a taste that’s hard to pin down, and that’s kind of the point. Expect left turns, unexpected gems and records you didn’t know you needed to hear.
