Komtouch Napattaloong (TH)

Komtouch Dew Napattaloong (คมน์ธัช ณ พัทลุง) is a visual artist and filmmaker based in Thailand. Working across experimental and documentary forms, his practice involves identity deconstructions, migration narratives, and historical translations to examine the nature of memory, displacement, and image agency. His recent film In Sum (ผีพัฒนา) premiered at the 76th Berlinale (Forum Expanded). His 2024 short No Exorcism Film competed for the New:Vision award at CPH:DOX, following the premiere of his debut feature documentary, Hours of Ours, at the 54th Visions du Réel. A 2025 Prince Claus Fund Seed Awardee and Berlinale Talents alumnus, his moving-image works have screened at the international festivals including YamagataIDFF, JeonjuIFF, the 68th BFI London Experimenta, EXiS, SGIFF, and Mar Del Plata. Within the contemporary art context, his installations have been exhibited at the Bangkok Biennial, W139 Amsterdam, Ramasun Station Historical Museum for Noir Row Art Space, and Jim Thompson Art Center for Ghost2568 triennial. He is also the co-founder of Rare Occupant, an audio-visual production and services company based in Bangkok.
