Kolev (BG)

Mitko Kolev born in Burgas, currently based in Sofia is a DJ and producer from Bulgaria. Founder of High Sounds and part of the ex-duo Kolev & Emll, he found his interest in electronic music at early age with artist like Prodigy and the current for the time house scene in Detroit and Chicago. His decision to start playing followed during 2013 and soon after that he got his first small victory - a warm-up set in a famous Sofia club. Creating music was the next natural step for him and for a very short amount of time he managed to release his own creations for labels like Black Cat and Airtaxi. Acting as event manager for High Sounds, he started working together with the team to host events with famous bulgarian artists such as Boryana and Pavel Petrov after earning success there, a new concept was born - Symbiosis! An event brining fresh new international names to the bulgarian scene. Symbiosis is responsible for presenting names like D.r.n.d.y, Peppelino, Tekoize, The Reactivitz, D-Unity, Chris Nait and more. Aside from everything, Kolev is also acting as local support for many big events and names such as - Optimuss, Lander B, Oscar Escapa, Ramiro Lopez, Stefano Noferini, Artslaves, Nusha, Sinisa Tamamovic, Mladen Tomic and many more!
