Karin Koopmans (NL)
Karin has been in the music business for over 13 years. Starting at Universal Music Netherlands,
she transitioned to artist management for Dutch management firm White Mountain International
Management, where she worked with various pop and rock acts, as well as dance music act Kraak
& Smaak, which led her to the international touring space. In 2013, Karin joined MusicAllStars
Management/Spinnin’ Records where, as the Managing Director, she represented Martin
Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Sam Feldt, Sander van Doorn, and Carta, among others. At MusicAllStars
Management, she led their management team, spearheaded marketing initiatives and oversaw the
international touring schedules of all artists on their roster. She was also involved in the A&R of
Oliver Helden’s own record label, Heldeep Records, operating as a key player in his license/record
deal negotiations with major labels. In 2016 she transitioned to Los Angeles where she founded
Oikido LLC, offering strategic and consultancy for brands and artists in the music industry.
In 2018 she co-founded with DJ/Producer Sam Feldt the Heartfeldt Foundation, a platform to guide
influencers obtaining a more conscious & sustainable lifestyle. When you look back in history
music has always been a catalyzer for change. Music is an international language and there to
bring positive vibes, and that is def needed on how to threat each other, the planet and our
resources. The Heartfelt Foundation focussing on the UN Sustainability goals and uses a DO/
GIVE/EMPOWER and INSPIRE model. This is where the brand-partnerships come in to place.
How transparant is the production line, are the materials used of good quality and is the mission
and vision in line with the change we would like to see. It’s very exciting times when it comes to
partnerships like these.
