Jurrien Romeijn (NL)

Jurrien Romeijn is Head of Music at Armada Music, where he oversees the label’s artistic direction and music strategy. With over a decade at Armada and a long-standing career in electronic music, he brings extensive experience in A&R, artist development, and creative leadership, alongside a strong instinct for emerging sounds and a deep understanding of the global electronic music landscape.

During his years in A&R, Jurrien worked closely with Armada’s sublabels Electronic Elements and The Bearded Man, collaborating with an eclectic roster of established and emerging artists and producers, including Lost Frequencies, Jan Blomqvist, Tensnake, Ki/Ki, Reinier Zonneveld, LP Giobbi, Henrik Schwarz, Floorplan, and Yulia Niko, among many others. His work across these labels has given him a broad perspective on electronic music, spanning house, techno, melodic and experimental sounds.

Jurrien subsequently spent two years as Head of Creative at Armada Music Publishing, where he focused on creative development and building relationships with artists, songwriters, and producers. In his current role as Head of Music, he brings these experiences together, helping shape Armada’s artistic identity, developing its roster, and guiding the label’s musical evolution within the global electronic music scene.
