Jose David Estrada (ES)
Jose David Estrada, professionally known as Estrada, is a 28-year-old designer from Almería, Spain, whose work bridges fashion, visual merchandising, and creative direction. His passion for art was shaped by his mother, a hairdresser with a love of fashion, and his grandfather, an engineer who introduced him to architectural aesthetics. Raised in a school rich with creative activities, he developed an early sensitivity toward visual expression.
At 16, Estrada pursued the Arts track in Almería before studying Fashion Design in Seville, building a foundation in illustration, pattern making, and garment construction. He later transferred to a more contemporary school, where he defined his signature identity: fashion and comfort fused into an urban aesthetic enriched with tailored details.
Estrada then moved to Berlin for a nine-month internship at an established fashion brand, followed by a role on Zara's management team in Dublin as International Commercial Manager. There, he led store openings across Europe, overseeing visual merchandising and strategic direction alongside a team of eight.
He later spent three years in Madrid managing strategic visual merchandising, an experience that led him to BlackWorks, where he now designs and directs the brand's aesthetic identity — uniting everything he has learned across fashion, design, and creative direction.
Estrada is currently pursuing a Master's in Business Management, aiming to bridge artistic direction with strategic leadership, and to bring creativity and business vision together as one.
