Jasper Goossen (NL)

Jasper is partner and founder of Apenkooi Events. With their festival DGTL, Apenkooi has the ambition to be the first circular festival.

Apenkooi was founded in 2004 and started as a small festival in Utrecht. In the meantime, Apenkooi has grown into an event agency where people with a passion for music, creativity and sustainability organize a large number of festivals in Amsterdam, such as Amsterdam Open Air, Straf_Werk, Pleinvrees and DGTL. For DGTL, Apenkooi has the ambition to be the first circular festival. To achieve this DGTL is committed to organizing the festival in a fundamentally different way and where possible closing cycles and reducing CO2. With results, because this year the organization was able to receive no fewer than 12 "Greener Festival" Awards. Prizes awarded to festivals that manage to limit the ecological impact of the festival as much as possible.
