Born Jeremy Klaassen, Bono Badja is a Dutch DJ and music producer on a mission to bring sunshine, culture and movement to every dancefloor.

Blending Afro, Latin, Tribal and global house rhythms with rolling percussion, warm melodies and irresistible grooves, Bono creates a sound that feels like an instant escape to the islands. His sets are energetic, colorful and deeply dance-driven, built around one simple idea: every dancefloor should feel like summer.

His music has landed on labels including Smash The House, Afrodite, Club Bad, Latin House Gang, Café de Anatolia Mi Amor Records and many more, with releases such as Hawa Hawa, Ring the Alarm, Playa del Sol, Ring the Alarm, Cabana, Island Soul.
His productions have received support from artists including Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Jamie Jones, Hugel, Faul & Wad, Danny Avila, Danny Roma, Javi Torres, Simon Fava, Sunana and Dennis Cartier, among many others.

Behind the decks, Bono has shared the stage and booth with artists such as FAUL & WAD, Afro Bros, Lady Bee, Freddy Moreira, Danny Roma, DJ Jean, DJ José, D-Rashid, Javi Torres, Simon Fava, Ruben Vitalis, Andrew Mathers and Vessbroz.

His journey has taken him far beyond The Netherlands. From India, Germany, Bulgaria, Ireland, Spain, Belgium, France and Turkey to Egypt and the Azores, Bono continues to connect dancefloors through music and culture. His international journey includes the Namaste Tour in India, performing in Mumbai, Goa, Jaipur and Hyderabad.

He has appeared at festivals, clubs and events including Dreamvillage Festival, OMG Festival, Samen Festival, Sunset XXL Festival, Mi Amor Streetfestival, Club WoW, Club Riddim, BK1 Germany and Grenswerk Venlo, alongside numerous venues across Europe.

More than a DJ, Bono Badja is building a world around his sound. As Founder of Mi Amor Records & Events and Samen Festival, he continues to create platforms where artists, cultures and communities come together.
