At the beginning of his career, after working as studio programmer for Victor Simonelli, Gabry Venus founded Movin’ Records, his (vinyl) record company, producing some big house music tunes, played by such international DJs as Seb Fontaine on BBC1, Boris D’lugosh, Dave Mothersole on Kiss Fm, Saeed in John Digweed Kiss 100 Show, and released records with artists like Andrea Mendez, Tanja Louise and Lenny Fontana. In 2003 he started a partnership with Radio Globo, the most important regional radio in Lazio (Rome). His Radioshow “Chiamata a Carico," has broken numerous audience records, ranking number 2 in the iTunes National Podcast, and winning the Gold Microphone 2015. Now Gabry is back to house music production, with new collaborations with Inaya Day, Black Legend, Hoxton Whores and The Cube Guys. His records are getting huge support from superstar deejays all over the world: EDX, Lost Frequencies, Antonio Giacca & Clint Maximus, Dannic, David Penn, The Him, Stonebridge, Albert Neve & Abel Ramos, Firebeatz, Danny Rampling, Duane Harden, Samuele Sartini, Luca Guerrieri, Benji Candelario, Federico Scavo, Nick Warren and many more. Latest releases are on Hotfingers, Cube Recordings and Vamos Music, included in the world’s DMC Buzz Chart, supported in radio shows from the likes of Benny Benassi, Kryder, Blasterjaxx, Scavo, Provenzano and Nicolas Haelg, to name a few. With huge radio support in Italy (m2o, 105, RTL, Radio Ibiza, Radio Globo, Piter Pan, Studio Più, Radio Norba, Radio Company, Cicio Riccio and many more), GABRY VENUS “Prende La Vela” (The Cube Guys Mix) has been also played at Tomorrowland mainstage, charted #5 in Beatport Funky House TOP 100 (more than 1 month in Top 10) and is one the most played record of Italy’s summer clubs (Source: Italian Dance Directory Club/House Chart). Gabry Venus classy house remix for Viola Martinsson “Made Of”, out on D:Vision records, gathered support by top djs such as TIESTO, Kryder, Eddie Thoneick, Robbie Rivera and Christian Marchi. “When I’m Alone” , Gabry’s collaboration with legendary house music voice, Inaya Day, remixed by The Cube Guys, ranked at #15 in the Beatport House Top 100, being also played inside Pete Tong Essential Selection on BBC Radio1. His 2016 summer tune “Gold” had tons of airplays in FM radio stations in Italy, entering the TOP 50 Dance Airplay chart and making Gabry one of the TOP 10 emerging artists most played in Italy. In the UK “Gold” charted #6 in Music Week Pop Club Chart, and radio support gathered momentum with Kiss FM, Kiss 100, Gaydio, RTE and ACR network. Gabry’s Radioshow is usually broadcast on Radio Globo (FM 99.6 in Rome and FM 100.5 in Ibiza & Formentera) and he is also guest in other radio stations such as Radio Ibiza, Piter Pan, Studio +, m2o and others. On the Club side, Gabry has been djing in well renowned clubs in Rome, such as Room 26, Shilling, Planet, V Lounge, Chalet nel Bosco. In the last year Gabry has also performed in Ibiza at Hard Rock and at Privilege, alongside EDX, Antonio Giacca and Nora En Pure, and at Tipic in Formentera.
