FRÉ (NL)
FRÉ (Frederike Berendsen) is a Dutch singer-songwriter, producer, speaker and coach who has spent the last ten years writing songs for a living future, from her debut album Nature's Songs (2017) to her latest album Gemini (2025). Her music lives at the edge of pop and has been played on the BBC, NPO Radio 1, Radio 2, 3FM and Radio 5, and she has performed across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, the UK, the USA and Finland.
She co-founded and leads Music Declares Emergency NL, where she works with festivals on sustainability, trains artists to make their message land, and builds activations that reach hundreds of thousands, like the No Music On A Dead Planet campaign. She speaks internationally on music, art and the climate crisis, returning to ADE Green, Eurosonic Noorderslag, MusicXMedia (Finland) and conservatoires including the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.
At ADE Green 2026 she and her coaching partner LORAL (Laura Overbeeke) bring a special short version of Your Unique Impact Training, which helps participants move out of climate overwhelm and into meaningful action, finding the impact only they can make. FRÉ believes that music travels heart to heart, and that what moves the heart can change the world.
