Engelbert (NL)

Engelbert (Bo van Veen) is an Amsterdam-based DJ, producer, and label owner who has been deeply involved in electronic music since 1999. Since shifting his focus toward melodic and progressive house in 2020, he has developed a distinctive sound that blends deep atmospheres, emotional melodies, and driving grooves.

Over the years, Engelbert has collaborated with artists such as Mike Kohl, Nick Devon, Whirl, and QuiQui, releasing music on respected labels including Steyoyoke, ICONYC, Manual Music, Sequence, and his own imprint, 3RD Act Records. He is also the organizer of NEW ELEMENTS during Amsterdam Dance Event, where he showcases forward-thinking electronic music and emerging talent.

As founder of 3RD Act Records, Engelbert continues to support and release music from artists such as Stereo Underground, Whirl, Mike Kohl, QuiQui, LackOfAffekt, Skenna, Samuel Dictus, Pentia, and many more.
