Doka (NL)

Doka. Short, strong and consistently with the industrial raw and repetitive nature of techno. Doka stood at the cradle of the techno scene in the deep south of the Netherlands. In 2006 he introduced the successful concept TechNORm at the venue the Nieuwe Nor in Heerlen. After more than 40 editions with headliners such as Marcel Dettmann, Speedy J, Oscar Mulero, James Ruskin, DVS1, Luke Slater, Steve Rachmad, Joris Voorn, Darko Esser, Sandrien and many more, the concept evolved and attracted the attention of other large organizations such as Evotions, Planet Rose, 12 inch city and VOLLT resulting in successful collaborations. Nowadays TechNORm is replaced by a brand new concept named: Konstrukt. Doka is a passionate dj and producer. In the middle of the “concrete jungle” of Amsterdam West, he works on his typical raw, catchy techno sound in his own studio. Some of his tracks have been picked up by label owners such as Darko Esser and have been played at big festivals and famous locations. Remixes on Gynoid Audio and Wall music came out. Also his first big vinyl release on Wolfskuil records, and 3 brand new releases planned on Android Muziq, ON records and Wolfskuil ! With more and more gigs in large venues and party’s/festivals such as Paradiso, Solar, Ruigoord, Doornroosje, Melkweg, Have a nice day festival, CLR, Studio 80 and Berlin, Doka is a name to remember!
