DJ Dazy (US)

DJ Dazy is a Los Angeles-based house DJ with more than three decades behind the decks. Rooted in vinyl and known for a deep, soulful, funky sound, she began DJing in 1991 and came up through the West Coast house scene of the ’90s and early 2000s.

Often one of the few women behind the decks in those early years, Dazy went on to found Sister DJs, a female DJ collective that helped create more opportunities and visibility for women in the scene.

Her sets draw from deep and jackin house, disco influences, and classic cuts from an extensive record collection. Whether playing vinyl or digital, her strength comes from experience: reading the room, knowing when to build, and letting the music lead.

After taking time away from DJing, Dazy returned to the decks in 2024 and has since been playing regularly throughout Los Angeles and beyond, reconnecting with longtime friends and collaborators while becoming part of a new chapter of the house music community.

More than 30 years after she started, DJ Dazy remains focused on what brought her to DJing in the first place: great music, great sound, and a dance floor that feels connected.
