Having also produced the iconic club track "Badd" by Stylo G, which featured Reggae Legend Sister Nancy, his sound became one that was familiar on sound systems worldwide and has led to him being identified as one of the hottest up and coming new producers from Europe. His tracks are already a firm favourite with key tastemaker Dj’s such as Zane Lowe, Sir David Rodigan, Mista Jam and Annie Mac. His parental heritage is Suriname in South America and is responsible for influencing Diztortion’s signature hard--‐hitting drums as well as his musical background as a drummer. Influenced by the likes of Dj Premier and J Dilla and more recently Skrillex, he uniquely crafts his fusion of hip hop, reggae and electronic dance music into what can only be described as his own sound. Having moved to the UK from Amsterdam, where he was already an established producer and artist, he soon collaborated with UK Rap pioneers Wiley and Lethal Bizzle and produced the club hit “They Got It Wrong”. He then went on to produce Lethal Bizzle’s follow up singles “Party Right” and "The Drop", "Rari Work Out" and "Fester Skank" which were all also UK top 40 chart hits. Now ready to take center stage as an artist in his own right, Diztortion recently signed a major deal with Polydor UK/ Universal Records and a worldwide publishing deal with Warner Chappell. With forthcoming collaborations with Tinie Tempah, Major Lazer and Sigma imminent as well as his own solo offerings, the future is looking very promising for this bright new multi talented producer/ artist.
