Chlär (CH)

Chlär is a Swiss-born DJ and producer known for his uncompromising approach to techno: raw, precise, and relentlessly physical. His performances operate like a rhythm engine—bolting together percussive grit with hyper-syncopated precision. With Primal Instinct, his record label and creative platform, he seeks to connect human instinct with rhythm and sound, turning techno into both a social critique and a visceral experience.

With KERNEL (CHLÄR LIVE A/V), the label expands into a new dimension: a large-scale audiovisual performance that dissects our modern condition. Created in collaboration with Paris-based media studio Bonjour Lab (led by Théo Rocq) and live visual artist Femur, the project uses AI-generated visuals that respond in real-time to Chlär’s all-new, unreleased music. Every beat triggers a visual reaction, creating a constantly shifting environment where control collides with chaos, and reality collides with simulation. The result is more than a performance. KERNEL is an audiovisual exorcism of the modern condition, using satire, shock, and rhythm to examine humanity’s transformation in a consumer-driven, hyper-digital society.
