Anthony Giovanni (US)

Anthony Giovanni is originally from San Diego, California where he initially got introduced to the exploding U.S. electronic music scene back in 2010. However, he chose to relocate to Shanghai 4 years ago to diversify his music knowledge and expand his cultural background. Since then he has become a traveling DJ around SE Asia along with becoming the content manager and artist relations manager for China’s only electronic music platform ~ PYRO Music. This has involved him interviewing countless artists from Sam Feldt, Drumcell, Ferry Corsten, Kevin Saunderson, Sander Van Doorn, Sharam Jey, Bingo Players and many more including dozens of local Chinese artists. Aside from DJing local events, he has also sponsored and organized various local events from underground gigs to larger festivals and helped the community in any way he can to grow the domestic scene. He hopes the electronic industry in China will continue to prosper in the right direction, by following the quality of music emerging here in the Middle Kingdom as opposed to focusing on foreign entities and charts.
