Russian-born and Beijing-based DJ Aida Minibaeva started her career from spinning at an impromptu ART Dance Festival after party in Russia back in 2010. Since then she performed in many nightlife hot spots around Asia, including Lantern, InfraRouge, Haze, Aurora and Migas (Beijing), The Mansion and Arkham (Shanghai), Hangover and Code Red (Guangzhou), Oskar (Bangkok), Zu Club (Ulaanbaatar). Living abroad and travelling since her teens, Aida is in demand in both music and fashion industries, performing for Max Mara, Michael Kors, PORTS1961, Max&Co, ZARA, Armani, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, to name a few. Aida’s music revolves around energetic and groovy techno of strong beats and obscure melodies, blended with preciseness and intelligence. Throughout the years of her music journey, Aida played alongside many well-known local and international artists at the leading music festivals in China: INTRO, YinYang Music Festival, Wonderland by TRUST, and so on. As of December 2017, Aida is a co-founder and creative director of techNOrules – one of Beijing’s leading electronic music labels focusing on female artists and new talents.
