2CENT (HT)

2CENT is a Haitian-born DJ, producer, and cultural ambassador who is being
recognized for his artistic vision and commanding presence in New York City's Afro
House scene. As the author of the Lakou House sound, he has carved a distinct sonic
identity at the intersection of deep, soulful rhythm and the ancestral energy of Haiti,

ceremonial, rooted, and unmistakably his own.

His productions, including Ouvè Pot La with Riva Precil, Yon ti We with Beethova Obas,
and gede Party, demonstrate a rare storytelling instinct: heartfelt narratives carried by
infectious, groove-forward architecture. Beyond the booth, 2CENT is building
infrastructure, creating pathways for emerging producers and artists to reach
international audiences, and establishing music as a vehicle for cultural exchange and
empowerment across the diaspora.
