Hybrasil was born less than 12 months ago in an unknown location somewhere off the coast of Ireland, but for a live act looking forward to its first birthday, Hybrasil has been busy.
With a series of live performances on the legendary Space terrace this summer, alongside acts such as techno-midwife Juan Atkins and Visionquest’s Ryan Crossan & Lee Curtis, as well as live performances with Sven Vath and an upcoming performance at Jeff Mills sold-out orchestra show in Dublins’s Bord Gais theatre, there has been no time for Hybrasil to learn to walk or talk in its first year on earth. It’s been all about the techno.
Some people are taking notice. People like Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Dave Clarke and Alan Fitzpatrick are taking regular notice, and acts like Gregor Tresher, Luigi Madonna, Jon Rundell, Reset Robot and Ambivalent have become addicted. We believe there may not be a cure for this.
Bush Records present the second Hybrasil release. The debut release on Loose Records featured a remix by Mars Bill and entered the playlists and charts of the worlds Techno elite. Techno now has a new home, and that home is Hybrasil.
