What is the Amsterdam Dance Event?

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the leading electronic music platform and the biggest club festival in the world for the whole spectrum of electronic sub-genres. The daytime program offers a wide selection of conferences, including interactive workshops, mentoring sessions, technical demonstrations and in-depth round-table discussions, alongside a series of pop-up shops, musical/cross-cultural happenings and unique one-off events (ADE Playground) across the city. The nighttime music festival features more than 300 events over five days in 75 venues around the city. Each year, the ADE attracts over 3,500 conference and 200,000 festival visitors – including 30,000 tourists - from over 62 countries.

There also will be an online timetable available before the festival. Download the official ADE app here!

How can I buy tickets for the festival?

For each event / location you need to buy a separate ticket, we don’t sell passé partouts that will give you access to the full festival program. Every festival event holds different rates. Please have a look at our festival program, each ticket price and link to the ticket shop will be offered through our website.

Ticket sales for events will start in May, every week new events will be added to our program.

How can I get to Amsterdam?

Amsterdam can be reached by car, bike, train and bus. Detailed directions are available here, and a travel planner for the public transportation over here. For international visitors, travel services from Schiphol to Amsterdam are available here.

How can I get around in Amsterdam during ADE?

There are several ways to get around in Amsterdam. The public transportation is fully operational during ADE. You can also rent a bike or a car, or use one of Amsterdam's taxi services.

Amsterdam is the perfect city to explore by bike. Use your bike as Public Transportation so you don't have to wait for a tram or bus, you're never stuck in traffic and you can easily park. That means you're free to do as you please. MacBike has 4 rental shops in the centre of Amsterdam which are open every day. Bikes are always available.
