Expo: Langa Pride
Earlier this year, Alex Revers (director) and Vivian (photographer) were put on a path that introduced us to a beautiful, powerful, and brave community of young Queers in Langa, Cape Town. After being silenced for decades, the LGBTQIA+ community decided they had been hiding for long enough. They deserve to be out and proud, from silent to loud—and to educate their community about the existence of queerness. It resulted in the first-ever Langa Pride on March 8th, 2023. A group of strangers quickly turned into a welcoming community, and we were part of this intimate journey, using our skills as storytellers to let their stories inspire others to feel safe and free.
The movement is focused on education about the reality of how it is to be Queer in the environment of a South African township. School presentations, (this) film screenings, and inspirational posters from the Queer community aim to open everybody’s eyes to work towards a safer place for the community. Soon, we will start the preparations for a safe Pride celebration in March 2024, during South African Pride month.
The Langa Pride exposition is made possible by Samsung and Eyeforce Amsterdam.

ADE PRO
Join us at the Felix Meritis for the full ADE Pro programme. The conference is set to be extended by an additional day, taking place from ADE Wednesday to Saturday. Just down the road the prestigious Andaz Amsterdam by Hyatt Hotels is transformed to a buzzing network & business hub from Wednesday to Friday.
ADE LAB
ADE Lab returns with a four-day programme from ADE Wednesday to Saturday at the Brakke grond and many more venues around the Amsterdam Nes area.
We do not sell ADE Conference only or Day Passes. The only way to get access to the ADE Pro Conference is the ADE Pro Pass.

Our conferences are accessible for all ages in general. Do note that when alcoholic beverages are served, access can be denied.
