Music and videogames have been best friends since the classic 8-bit chip soundtracks of the 1980s and the needle drop playlists of Grand Theft Auto in the late 1990s. With the current boom of gaming there seem to be more and more opportunities for media composers. Music remains a huge and critical part of every video game experience – from a compelling full-orchestra to more and more brand partnerships. But how do you make a game worthy track? What makes the music fit the game so well? In this panel some of the biggest names in the video game and music industry will guide you through the creative process of producing gaming music. Let them inspire you.
