Drag Me To Heaven

Drag Me To Heaven

Why so serious when it can be so much fun? On last day at ADE we going to have a lot of fun together and celebrate diversity and inclusivity. We do embrace the club culture during Amsterdam Dance Event and we at GDE are presenting for the past 14 years a series of events base on diversity and inclusivity. Are mission statement is clear we want to have some fun events open to every genders. We will keep our global impact on the world biggest music summit ADE. Musicians like David Bowie made the cross-dressing, gender-bending aesthetic a focal point of their early videos, they also work with the first electronic music instruments blending it to pop and what now became house music. Back in the 90s, in some of the clubs that gave birth to house and techno, we saw how important the role of drag queen and crossdressers was in the club entertainment and door hosting. They were simply and still are often the key of a good night out! Therefore we decided this year to present events at ADE to highlight them, events where gender discrimination is going once again to be kept OUT! We will invite djs and have drag shows during the event. Let's DRAG YOU TO HEAVEN for your last day, we will all party and dance together one more time before ADE 2022 ends.

TABOO

We are happy to present Taboo to the Amsterdam Dance Event edition 2022. For the first time joining ADE, Taboo bar is one of the most popular bars in Amsterdam. It's located in the Reguliersdwarsstraat, one of the main party streets, a paved area for pedestrians with many bars and restaurants. Popular among the LGBT community and a very central Amsterdam location, Taboo is a vibrant and hip venue. The ambiance is very cozy and sees many night-time revelers enjoying their time. Built in an old Amsterdam's house, Taboo's new interior is one of a kind and very stylish, giving a very unique touch to the bar. The large windows view on the street provides a full experience on what the city is about during ADE. Ready to party at Taboo and enjoy the sounds of the best national and international djs for 5 days at ADE. Check our events during ADE on ADE website for more time, information and line up.

Festival FAQ

Yes, all official ADE Festival events listed on the ADE website are accessible with your ADE Pro Pass (limited capacity at venues). When capacity has been reached, a one in one out rule applies.

A very limited number of events, including the Nils Frahm seated concert at Concertgebouw and the Eric Prydz HOLO show have had an RSVP list for Pro Pass holders. Only the RSVP grants entry to the shows.

For (individual) festival tickets make sure to check out our program and simply add tickets to your basket as you explore all events.

Tip: Filter the program by "Show only events with available tickets" to get a quick view.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+), these are Dutch governmental rules which say that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club. Please double-check the promotors website to be sure you can enter the event.

We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.

Please keep in mind: we love being your annual host, therefore, we would like to ask you to enjoy responsibly.
