DMT, Generator Hostel and Oosterbar joined forces to start your Amsterdam Dance Event with a bang!
The ADE kickoff is the place where DJ's meet their piers, where you can have a drink and make plans for the rest of your ADE.
Entrance is free, and we'll take care of some high quality deep & melodic techno.

Oosterbar

Taking over the basement of a former zoological university, Oosterbar combines industrial design with an energetic vibe – not to mention a whole host of premium cocktails, ice cold beers and alcoholic beverages that will make your night one to remember. It is a space for musical experimentation where the best music from around the globe is mixed, clashed and brought to life by the greatest artists and auditory masterminds.
Find us on the lower ground floor of Generator Hostels and bring your dancing shoes – your night is about to become epic.

Festival FAQ

Yes, all official ADE Festival events listed on the ADE website are accessible with your ADE Pro Pass (limited capacity at venues). When capacity has been reached, a one in one out rule applies.

A very limited number of events, including the Nils Frahm seated concert at Concertgebouw and the Eric Prydz HOLO show have had an RSVP list for Pro Pass holders. Only the RSVP grants entry to the shows.

For (individual) festival tickets make sure to check out our program and simply add tickets to your basket as you explore all events.

Tip: Filter the program by "Show only events with available tickets" to get a quick view.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+), these are Dutch governmental rules which say that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club. Please double-check the promotors website to be sure you can enter the event.

We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.
