Deepgrooves Vinyl Pressing Plant & Deeptrax Records proudly host the ‘Joe Claussell and Friends’ ultimate New York club experience at Pong – house of Ping during this years ADE, Amsterdam Dance Event! On the night of the 20th of October, the Brooklyn based DJ and producer Joe Claussell (Sacred Rhythm, Spiritual Life Music), co-founder of the famous Body & Soul events, will play an extended DJ set full of the most driving house tracks imaginable. Joe Claussell is widely known for his successful collaborations with Louie Vega, Kerri Chandler, François K and Danny Krivit amongst others, as well as his legendary releases on Ibadan, Guidance and BBE. His work is deeply inspired by African rhythms, worldly vocals and thriving basslines. For decades, Joe’s live performances are known to be their own entities, lifting spirits to unprecedented heights in venues worldwide.

A Body & Soul experience wouldn’t be complete without guests. For this edition, Japanese prodigy Kuniyuki Takahashi is invited to bring his perfect blend of future jazz, deep house and techno music. Kuniyuki is well known for his splendid releases on Mule Musiq. Remember the “Precious Hall” classic from twenty years ago, which hasn’t lost any of its impact since? Others may know him from his monikers Forth, Frr Hive and Koss.

Together, these two absolute powerhouses will make for an experience not to be missed. They might even bring some of their musical friends to join on stage.

The second stage of Pong – house of Ping is reserved as the playground for the Deeptrax Soundsystem. Expect an adventurous ride through the vast landscape of sincere house and techno music, with loads of hidden gems and forgotten treasures from the deep vaults of the Deeptrax Record Store.
