Sound Of Blackness

Free entrance

The Sounds of Blackness is now in it’s 8th year and they look forward to it's return this year. Inspired by the Frankie Knuckles NYC residency at the Sound Factory Bar and his remix of “The Pressure”, Elliott Matos and Benjamin Aillery has nurtured this very black soulful House idea into a night dedicated to the Underground House and Techno music sounds that often originated in the gay cellar bars & the dancefloors of New York mixed with all the colours that came to be the vanguard of the club culture on dance floors that we experience today.

The DJs for this night are native New Yorkers, Europeans and African DJs. All in Amsterdam specially for this Sound of Blackness night and each has made their own mark in the House Music world of today.
